All Ireland Senior Hurling champions Limerick are in Salthill to play Galway in Division 1A of the Allianz National Hurling League this afternoon.

The hosts lead 16 points to 1-11 in the early stages of the second half at Pearse Stadium.

Elsewhere in Division 1A, Waterford beat Westmeath 1-22 to 1-19 at Walsh Park

In Division 1B, Wexford came from eight points down to beat Clare on a scoreline of 2-19 to 1-21 in Ennis.

Antrim couldn't repeat the heroics of their opening win over Clare - they lost to Kilkenny by seven points.

1-28 to 3-15 was the final score at Nowlan Park.

In the Football League, All Ireland champions Dublin have beaten Roscommon 1-22 to 16 points.

Newly promoted Armagh beat Monaghan 1-16 to 1-12 at Brewster Park in Division 1 North.

In Division 2 North, Meath trail Westmeath 8 points to 7 in Navan while Clare lead Laois 1-8 to 5 points in Ennis in Division 2 South.

In Division 3 South, Offaly have beaten Wicklow 1-14 to 1-10 in Aughrim.

And in Division 4 North, Sligo beat Leitrim 2-19 to 18 points in Markievicz Park.
