Allen suffers heavy defeat at Masters

Mark Allen has suffered a heavy first round defeat at The Masters.

The Antrim man was whitewashed 6-nil by Barry Hawkins this afternoon at Alexandra Palace.

Hawkins will play Ryan Day or Judd Trump in the quarter-finals.

This evening sees Mark Williams face David Gilbert, with a quarter-final against Ronnie O’Sullivan awaiting the winner.
