All-Munster clash highlight of Hurling League this afternoon

There's another all-Munster clash in the Allianz National Hurling league this afternoon as round one's fixtures continue.

At a-quarter-to-4 Cork welcome Waterford to Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Division One.

The Déise were four point victors when the sides met in the Championship last October.

At 1-o'clock meanwhile newly promoted Antrim host Clare at Corrigan Park as Darren Gleeson's side begin life in the top tier.

Then at a quarter-to-2 Wexford and Laois meet at Chadwicks Wexford Park in what will be Seamus 'Cheddar' Plunkett's first game in charge of the visitors.

And at 3-o'clock Keith Higgins will captain the Mayo hurlers when they host Derry at MacHale Park in Division Two.

The Ballyhaunis man announced his retirement from football back in January after 14 years at senior inter-county level.

Limerick and Tipperary played out a 20-points-apiece draw in Division One of the Allianz National Hurling League at the Gaelic Grounds.

Elsewhere, Kilkenny beat Dublin on a scoreline of 1-20 to 18 points at Parnell Park.

And earlier on Galway hammered Westmeath 5-34 to 1-16 in Mullingar.
