Former All-Ireland final referee Marty Duffy thinks the new rules should have been trialled for a year at inter-county level before being introduced in the club game.

The changes from the Football Review Committee are set to effect in club games from March.

Duffy feels that referees are currently better equipped at inter-county level to enforce the new rules:
