All Blacks lock Scott Barrett has been cleared to play at the World Cup.
He was sent off in Friday’s defeat to the Springboks, having received two yellow cards.
The second of those yellows came for a hit on Boks’ hooker Malcolm Marx.

However, a disciplinary panel can’t apply a sanction for a yellow card offence and, as Barrett’s yellow wasn’t upgraded to red, he’s escaped a ban.
