Alex Dunne finished 9th in the F2 Hungarian feature race with driver's championship rival Leo Fornaroli taking the victory.
It leaves the Offaly man 5th in the overall standings, 30 points behind the Italian.
The McLaren man finished second in yesterday's Sprint Race but couldn't find a way up the grid after starting from 9th today.
