Adeleke won't be participating at next month's World Championships

Rhasidat Adeleke says she won't be participating at next month's World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

The Tallaght native - who had qualified for the 200-metres and 400-metres events - says she is bringing her season to an end early due to persistent injury issues.

It also means Adeleke won't be available for the four-by-four hundred metres relay team event.
