Abbeydorney Ladies P.R.O. Mary Roche says the men's victory in the Hurling County Championship inspired them to success in their County Final at the weekend.
The club bridged a 20 year gap since their last County Title, defeating Ballymac after extra time in the Bon Secours County Junior A Championship Final.
Roche says it was a 'hard-earned victory'.

Killarney Legion Ladies manager Ted Healy says his side got their goals 'at the right times' in their victory in the Bon Secours County Junior B Championship Final.
They defeated fellow East-Kerry side Kilcummin in the decider on Sunday in John Mitchels GAA Complex.
Healy says it was a great way to finish the year.
Meanwhile Beale Ladies Secretary Cora O'Mahony says this year is one of the best in the club's history.
The Ballybunion side won their third trophy of the year on Sunday, defeating Southern Gaels B in the final of the Bon Secours County Junior C Championship.
O'Mahony says it was a fantasic day.
