Abbeydorney knocked out by the Clare champions

A poor final 20 minutes saw Abbeydorney exit the AIB Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship.

They were beaten 1-19 to 1-17 by O’Callaghans Mills in a 1/4 final tie.

O'Dorney had a 3 point lead early in the second period, but conceded an equalising goal in the 40th minute. They fell 4 behind, got it back to 2 and were denied a winning goal when Oisin Maunsell's late effort was saved by Killian Nugent.
