Round 1 of the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Hurling Championship begins Friday night in Austin Stack Park. Defending champions Abbeydorney face Causeway at 7.30pm in Group C.
Sunday sees a double-header with St Brendan’s vs Crotta O’Neill’s at 2pm, followed by the Group B clash between Kilmoyley and Ballyheigue at 4pm.
Abbeydorney’s Francie O’Halloran says recent injuries have hampered preparations, despite a positive league campaign.
