3rd Fastest Swim Of All Time Earns Wiffen European Gold

Ireland’s Daniel Wiffen has won the gold medal in the 1500m at the European Championships following a sensational swim in Romania.

Down man Wiffen finished in 14.09.11 – the third fastest time in history and just shy of the world record of 14:06.88.

Daniel’s twin brother, Nathan, finished in eighth place in the final.
