Siblings Eve and Ewan McMahon both made strong starts at the ILCA European Sailing Championships in Sweden yesterday.
Howth sailor, Eve was one of nine boats penalised for an early start in her first race, but bounced back with a second place finish in race two.
Her older brother Ewan is the third-ranked European out of 153 boats, thanks to second and sixth place finishes yesterday.
Carlow's Finn Lynch also opened with a third and an 11th.
All three Irish sailors are now counted in the top 10 in the world as they build towards the 2028 Olympics in L.A
