2021 Boston Marathon winner Diana Kipyokei has been stripped of that title and banned for six years having tested positive for a banned substance.
Her compatriot Purity Rionoripo has received a five-year ban according to the Athletics Integrity Unit.
Their bans continue a worrying trend of Kenyan athletes testing positive for banned substances.
