Fine Gael councillor Liam Galvin, who is from Abbeyfeale, is calling for new legislation to tackle anti-social behaviour among children, which would include fining parents. He has set up a petition calling for the Justice Minister to bring new proposals to include fines being collected through parents' salary or social welfare:
