Short-Term Lets: Restrictions to Apply Only to Tralee – February 10th, 2026

Jerry spoke to Deputy Danny Healy-Rae about the Government’s decision to change the size of towns that will be affected by planned restrictions to short-term lets. It was to apply to towns with populations of 10,000 and more. However, the Government has decided it will now only apply to towns with more than 20,000 residents. It means that Killarney won’t be affected by the restrictions but Tralee will be.
