Jerry Scanlon from Tarbert is part of a group organising a public meeting, tonight, Thursday, October 2nd, about concerns over a 286-hectare solar farm in Tarbert and Glin.
He is arguing that the project is too big for the area and would lead to huge disruption over the 15 months of its construction, not to mention the 705 acres of agricultural land that would be taken out of the local economy.
