Property Tax Debate – September 28th, 2020

Fianna Fáil councillor Mike O’Shea was in favour of the proposal to hold the local property tax at last year’s rate. In contrast, Sinn Féin councillor Deidre Ferris wanted a 10% reduction. This afternoon, Kerry County Councillors voted to increase the base rate for the local property tax by 7.5% next year.
