On Travels Through a Kingdom, Kaya caught up with Brendan Ferris.
Brendan is from the Beaufort area and has grown up there his whole life.
He speaks about his sheep dog trails and how he started to train them.
Brendan tells us of his knee replacements in 2019 and how the pandemic gave him time to break them in. His life has changed since he replaced them!
He tells Kaya about the mountains he has climbed since his operation and how he has even taken up diving! Something he would never have imagined doing before his operation.
And he tell us of well known threshing for cancer fundraiser, which he set up after his wife had a battle with breast cancer and was able to fight it. Brendan felt the services deserved to be supported and he has raised over €200,000 for the charity!
