400km Run for Brú Columbanus: Aidan's Final Journey

Kaya Flynn speaks to Fozzy Forristal and PJ Meehan, who—along with their friend Tom Owens—are taking on an extraordinary 400km run across Ireland to raise funds for Brú Columbanus.

The challenge is deeply personal. Last August, Fozzy’s son Aidan sadly passed away. During that difficult time, Fozzy and his family found comfort and support through the services of Brú Columbanus in Cork. Now, in Aidan’s memory, the trio are determined to give back and raise vital funds for the organisation that helped them when they needed it most.

Their journey will begin at Brú Columbanus in Cork and travel through Dungarvan, Glenmore, Ballingarry, Kilmallock, Lixnaw—Aidan’s home village—and finish in Ardfert, his final resting place.
