On Thursday’s TalkAbout, Deirdre spoke to Sheila Martin, Annette O’Sullivan and Pauline O’Sullivan, who are all involved with the Women’s Shed movement in Kerry.
She heard how more than 60 women have now joined the Phoenix Women’s Shed in Tralee; another is up and running in Annascaul, while plans are in place to establish another shed in Killarney.
Representatives from the Women’s Shed in Kerry are heading to Adare on April 15 for the Munster Regional Forum of Women’s Sheds.
