Voice Ireland is undertaking a project to track where donated clothes really go. With around 80% of all collected clothing in Ireland being exported, it’s fair to ask: are they really being reused? Or will they end up in landfills or on beaches thousands of kilometres away, as more and more investigations in Africa and Asia have shown?
