The Oscar event which took place at the weekend quickly became over shadowed due the insulting joke Chris Rock made towards Will Smiths Wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The joke the Chris Rock made was aimed at the fact Jada is suffering from alopecia. Chris comments caused Will Smith to go up onto the stage and strike him. To discuss this Deirdre spoke to a member of Alopecia Ireland Paddy Pender. They also discussed what is like to have alopecia.
