Helen Mannix O’Leary lost her husband Derry when he was just 44, back in April 2020. He was a huge horse racing fan and always went to Cheltenham. In his final days, he made the Hospice nurses promise him he could watch Cheltenham at home. He also made his wife Helen promise she would organise a fundraiser for the Hospice, after the pandemic.
