30th anniversary of ‘Far and Away’ being filmed in West Kerry; bringing Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman to the area for several weeks for filming. A special screening of the movie will take place at Paudie O Se’s pub in Ventry on Tuesday of next week. Micheál ó Coileáin who is one of the organisers, remembers the filming very well and says it gave great publicity to Dingle tourism and he spoke with Deirdre.
