Ours to Protect is back for a second year! Ours to Protect is a collaboration between Radio Kerry and the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland aiming to champion climate action, and inform and educate audiences all over Kerry about how they can make a difference. Programmes will air every second Thursday morning from May 2025 until the end of October.

On this week's episode of Ours to Protect we'll be speaking to the students of Lyreacrompane Community National School about what their local bog lands mean to them. We'll also be speaking to Biosphere Officer Brendan Kirwin of The Kerry Biosphere Reserve to see what we can be doing to preserve this unique ecosystem.
