Kerry Fine Gael TD and deputy government chief whip Brendan Griffin reacts to a story in the Irish Examiner that unnamed government sources, presumably linked to the Green Party, have warned that that families could be forced to abandon their second car if the agriculture sector fails to reach carbon emission targets. Deputy Griffin’s mention of Dublin Bay South is a reference to the constituency of the Green Party leader and Minister for the Environment, Eamon Ryan.
