Protests against the mother-and-baby homes redress scheme took place yesterday outside the Dáil. The protesters feel the current redress scheme excludes certain groups of people who were victimised and exploited. James Sugrue from Ballybunion was boarded out to a family in Kerry as a child; he had to work for them and was sexually abused. He says it's wrong that people, like him, are excluded from the scheme.
