46-year-old John O’Driscoll from Tralee died in February two days after he was released from garda custody in Waterford. He had been arrested for a domestic row. The Garda Síochána Ombudsman is investigating the matter and because there is an active investigation neither they nor An Garda Síochána are commenting at this time. Mr O’Driscoll’s sister Helena Wall says they are still awaiting the results of their brother’s autopsy.
