Kerry County Councillor Niall Botty O’Callaghan’s family runs a hotel and bar in the town. He believes the hospitality sector would stay closed till March if they had the guarantee of long-term EU loans. He says it’s not financially viable for businesses to reopen in the coming weeks and months when there are severe restrictions on the number of customers allowed.
