There were 27 people waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Kerry yesterday according to the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation. Nationally, there were 608 – the highest daily figure in June since the union started keeping records on trolley numbers 16 years ago. Liam Conway, industrial organiser of the INMO, speaks to Treasa.
