Last evening, a vigil was held in Tralee against homophobia and transphobia and to honour the memories of Aidan Moffitt and Michael Snee, the two men who were murdered in Sligo last week. The event was organised by Ben Slimm who spoke on the show last week about enduring homophobia, including physical violence. Students of the Kerry College Digital Journalism and Broadcasting course reported on last evening’s event for Radio Kerry. The students are Sean Collins, Ryan Jones, Stefan Sarbu and Jessica Guerin.
