That was the verdict of political strategist Frank Quilter from Lixnaw when he met Simon Harris at the age of about 17. The most likely successor to Taoiseach and Fine Gael leader, Leo Varadkar, was campaigning for a candidate in the local elections when Mr Quilter met him. Frank Quilter also told Treasa Murphy how he met Minister Harris’s overjoyed grandmother yesterday.
