The ESRI released a report this week on the state of long-term residential care in Ireland, warning counties such as Kerry are losing beds; a situation which it warns will only get worse. Jerry spoke to Tadhg Daly, CEO of Nursing Homes Ireland and Fianna Fáil councillor, Fionnán Fitzgerald, who has a motion coming up in this month’s Kerry County Council meeting on the funding of nursing homes.
