Ross Brassil and John Connolly spoke to Jerry ahead of a protest in Tralee today in which they say ordinary working musicians, as they describe themselves, have been forgotten. They say the ban on outdoor live music makes no sense when such gatherings are allowed for sports. Fáilte Ireland says these guidelines, which are published on its website, are on behalf of the Government and reflect the decisions the Government takes on all matters relating to public health restrictions including the ban on live music.
