Bridget Sheeran is part of the Elephant Collective which successfully changed the law in 2019 to make it mandatory that inquests would be held after a woman died following childbirth. Ms Sheeran attended the inquest which took place in Tralee Courthouse into the death of Tatenda Faith Mukwata who died after giving birth at UHK in April last year.
