The judge was moved, gardaí became emotional, as did journalists by the courage and dignity of Siobhán Dooley whose husband Thomas was murdered while attending a funeral in a Tralee graveyard in October 2022. Yesterday, five men – including Mr Dooley’s brother Patrick from Arbutus Grove, Killarney – were given life sentences at the Central Criminal Court in Cork.
