Meanwhile, CEO and chair of New Fortress Energy, the US company which is behind the proposed Shannon LNG terminal on the Tarbert/Ballylongford landbank, Wesley Edens has sent a letter to the Taoiseach and to stakeholders in North Kerry and Clare. He says the project is shovel-ready. Ballylongford councillor Michael Foley and Tony Lowes of Friends of the Irish Environment have opposing views.
