Locals in east Kerry say they will be lodging an appeal against planning permission for a battery storage facility on health and safety grounds. Kerry County Council has granted planning to Redfaze Limited, subject to conditions, for the 40-battery unit storage, transformers and associated equipment at Ballynahulla, Ballydesmond.
