Sinn Féin has called for the immediate scrapping of the TV licence. While it calls on the public to pay the licence, it says those who haven’t should be granted an amnesty. The party proposes that instead public sector broadcasting should be funded directly through the exchequer. Jerry spoke to Sinn Féin TD for Cork North Central, Thomas Gould.
