Senior Men’s Quarter-Finals clash with Kerry Ladies’ County Finals – September 30th, 2024

This Sunday, three County Senior Football Quarter Finals have been scheduled to take place. However, this has clashed with scheduling for the Kerry Ladies Senior and Intermediate Football Finals. Yesterday afternoon, the Bons Secours Intermediate Ladies final between Scartaglen and MKL Gaels was scheduled to be played in Austin Stack Park at 2pm on Sunday. However, yesterday evening the Kerry County Board released its fixtures, scheduling the GAA quarter final of the Garveys Senior Championship between East Kerry and St Kieran’s for the same time and venue. The Senior Ladies final between Desmonds and Southern Gaels is scheduled to go ahead in Austin Stack Park at 4pm.The Intermediate Ladies final has yet to be rescheduled. Cllr Charlie Farrelly who spoke to Amber Galwey is unhappy.
