“Selfish and Greedy People Responsible for Water Disruptions” – December 21st, 2022

Castleisland area councillor Charlie Farrelly said on his Facebook page that recent water disruptions and restrictions in the area  were as a result of “selfish and greedy Irish Water customers in the greater Castleisland area and its hinterlands leaving their taps running over the past few nights in case they froze, hence the huge demand for water and now nightly disruptions.”
