RTÉ Director-General Resigns– June 26th, 2023

This morning RTÉ Director-General Dee Forbes resigned, saying she’d been treated unfairly in the controversy over hidden payments of €345,000 made to Ryan Tubridy. Emeritus professor Colum Kenny is a former chair of the Masters of Journalism programme at DCU. He’s a former member of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland and of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland/IRTC.
