Housing minister Darragh O’Brien has placed proposals before Cabinet which he hopes will help address the housing shortage. One of the proposals is that residents’ associations would not be able to take High Court actions/ judicial reviews against planning decisions. Jerry gets the view of Cllr Donal Grady. He believes any changes to planning laws should prevent holiday home owners from objecting to developments in the areas they have a second house in.
