On the 60th anniversary of his death, Jerry remembered Mike Quill, a Kilgarvan man who became a politician and co-founder of the Transport Workers Union of America (TWU). Quill supported African-Americans throughout the civil rights movement and was described by figures such as Martin Luther King as "a man who will be remembered for the ages". Jerry also played an excerpt from Quill's legendary NBC debate against former Senator Hartley.
