Bride Rosney was an educator, activist and special advisor to Ireland’s first woman president Mary Robinson. She was a trailblazer for women’s rights and social change in Ireland in the late 20th century. Bride grew up in Cahersiveen and dearly loved the Iveragh Peninsula. Jerry spoke to her friend Pat Montague who worked for the Labour Party. Her sudden passing was announced on Friday.
