Kerry County Council has planning permission to construct the Tralee-Fenit greenway along the route of the disused rail line linking both areas. So, why if the council has planning permission, is it now proposing to a diversion along a section of the route? The council is seeking approval from Tralee councillors to allow the 700-metre diversion. Treasa Murphy has been looking into the matter.
