Plea to report fly-tipping as culprit caught for Ballymacelligott illegal dumping

Councillor Fionnán Fitzgerald is encouraging people to report illegal dumping to the authorities.

In May a large amount of rubbish was dumped in Ballymacelligott. It was reported to gardaí, who identified an individual they believe is responsible. Cllr Fitzgerald believes updated CCTV legislation is needed to clamp down on fly-tipping, but that people need to report all incidents to gardaí.  He also comments on the lengthy waiting list for driving tests.
