Jerry spoke to Jack Shanahan of Haven Pharmacy Shanahan’s about the Common Conditions Service (CCS). More than nine in ten pharmacies have signed up for new scheme. The CCS will give pharmacists the opportunity to prescribe medications for patients for eight illnesses: allergic rhinitis, cold sores, conjunctivitis, impetigo, oral thrush, shingles, uncomplicated urinary tract infections/cystitis, and vulvovaginal thrush.
