An Bórd Pleanála overturned planning permission that Kerry County Council granted for the redevelopment of Cable O’Leary’s Hotel in Ballinskelligs. The planning appeals board deemed the proposed development excessive and out of character with the area. Jonathan Walsh is disappointed by the decision and says that those who objected to the development were wrong.
