Lystoll Lodge Nursing Home in Listowel has been the subject of several critical HIQA reports since 2018.
The Health Information Quality Authority’s most recent report says inspectors visited the home three times in the same number of weeks, such was the extent of their concerns for the safety and welfare of residents in the centre.
Shane Scanlan has been director of nursing at Lystoll Lodge since April – before the most recent report was carried out.
